Tart & Pie Dough
This easy and versatile tart dough recipe creates the perfect foundation for both sweet and savory tarts. 4 oz Sugar (1/2 cup)
8 oz Butter (2 sticks butter)
1 Egg
12 oz All Purpose Flour (3 cups)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and mix until it comes together to form a dough. If it is too soft, shape the dough in your pie tin and refrigerate for 30 minutes before baking.
Brush the pie dough with an egg wash (1 beaten egg)
Bake at 350 until golden brown (approximately 20-30 minutes)
