Southern Mac & Cheese
This Southern macaroni and cheese with cream of mushroom soup and mayonnaise is a comforting twist on a classic. Its creamy texture and rich flavor make it a standout side dish for any occasion. Whether you're serving it at a family dinner or bringing it to a potluck, it’s sure to be a hit.

Ingredients:
- 8 oz Pasta, cooked (I use elbow pasta)
- 4-6 cups of sharp cheddar cheese I used 3 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese and 2 cups Italian Blend (Feel free to use your own favorite variety of cheeses and be sure to save some for the top)
- 1 cup Mayo (I use Dukes)
- 2 TBSP Melted Butter
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 small can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 Sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
Directions:
- Mix pasta, cheese, mayo, cream of mushroom soup, melted butter, salt and pepper together. (Reserve some cheese to layer on top of mixture before adding the ritz crackers)
- Crush the Ritz crackers and mix with the melted butter then place on top of macaroni and cheese
- Bake at 350 until golden and bubbly, approximately 30-40 minutes
